Want A Laugh? Guess What Failed Dem Plans To Run AGAIN
This was good for a quick laugh. Stacey Abrams, Georgia's twice-defeated gubernatorial candidate, has told Drew Barrymore that she is seriously considering another run for the state's highest office.
I think she can't get enough of it.
Her reasoning? If you don't succeed the first time, try, try, try again! Who knows, maybe the third time's a charm? After all, why give up on a dream that has already been cruelly rejected twice? Or does she just enjoy losing elections? Who knows?
“So what’s next, are you gonna run again?” Barrymore asked. “Are you going? Do we get to look forward to this and galvanize again?”
“I will likely run again,” Abrams said.
“Yes!” Barrymore gushed as the audience cheered.
“I don’t know,” Abrams added, however. (RELATED: Stacey Abrams’ Non-Profit Reportedly Collecting Donations Without License)
“Yes, yes!” Barrymore continued to scream. “So are you gonna go up against some tough men who kind of don’t always play fair.”
“Well, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,” Abrams said. “And if it doesn’t work you try again.”
Stacey Abrams' gubernatorial runs in Georgia in 2018 and 2022 have sparked significant debate. Despite raising an eye-popping $100 million in the most recent election, Abrams left with a debt of more over a million dollars!

I guess it wasn't enough that celebrities like Leo DiCaprio and Melinda Gates had previously made significant contributions. I'm sure Abrams was more concerned about educating the people than winning the campaign. Certainly, sure...
While Abrams is able to persuade major contributors to forego their contributions, she falls short of what Georgians want from their leaders. Except for the one time she portrayed the President of the United States on television, she has no track record.
