Watch: Al Sharpton Makes Prison Jokes At Trump, Forgets One Little Thing
Reverend Al Sharpton took a shot at President Trump Saturday night on MSNBC's show 'Politics Nation'. Sharpton pushed the liberal narrative that President Trump will face criminal charges once he leaves the White House, for crimes he did not commit. The irony here is that Al Sharpton is a bit of a crook himself. Just last year, Sharpton forced his own charity to pay him more than $1 million and considered that fee to be a 'generous' reduction of what he says he is owed from the non-profit. Meanwhile, the good reverend still owes New York State 10s of thousands in back taxes.
Sharpton ran a clip of Trump joking in October that if he lost to the worst candidate ever, he might have to leave the country. Sharpton cracked: "Leaving the country may seem like a good idea, but your coronavirus incompetence means fully two-thirds of the countries on this planet are currently not accepting American travelers, and that's before you subtract the ones you have personally insulted by bad-mouthing their leaders are calling some of them s-hole countries." Then Sharpton pondered all the places Trump might want to go:
Sharpton has been paying down millions in his own personal federal and state tax liens. In June, he finally paid off his personal tax debt to the state, which last year stood at $95,031.21. He still owes $698,470.99 in back taxes for three of his companies, according to the state Tax Department, NYP reported.
