Watch: Pastor Goes Against Court Order Faces Arrest For Worshiping God
The Godspeak Calvary put their foot down on behalf of the people in need. Last week Judge Matthew Guasco issued a two-week restraining order, cutting off a place of worship to the people of Ventura County. These are desperate and scary times where the people need to be able to at least pray and find solace when they can, apparently though Dem lawmakers feel the need to take that away as well.
"Guasco's order came after Ventura County sued the church for violating Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom's coronavirus-related restrictions on religious gatherings.
In his ruling, Guasco said protecting public health outweighs the church's First Amendment rights." sourced from theBlaze.
Pastor Rob McCoy has made a video to spread the word that he will be holding 3 services despite the consequences. Unfortunately, the risk could spread to those who attend as well, he explains this could land participants on the police record. That's right y'all if you wanna pray in the comforts of Godspeak Calvary Chapel be ready to pay a fine for it or worst.
"I wish you didn't have to come to this, I really do. But we will be violating the judge's order, we will be open this Sunday," McCoy stated in a worried tone "Now, I don't know what that means as far as who's gonna stop us, but we're planning on having services at 9, 11, and 1."
Let it be known that Paster McCoy tells viewers that there has not been a single case of covid19 in his church, "we've done our homework" he says, yet they seem to have ignored the church's efforts and went on with their rash decision.
"We're going to keep worshiping God," he would add. "If they seek to arrest me and the thousand of you, it's almost like the first thousand get a prize: You get a citation. It's a misdemeanor. You want to be one of the thousand? Come."
"We're gonna do what we are gonna do," McCoy contnued "So, come to church. And if you're one of the first thousand, you win a prize: you will get a citation, it will be a misdemeanor, it'll go on your record — be mindful of that. And if we continue doing that, there's likely jail."
Pitiful. What more do these Dems wanna take from us? After McCoy's announcement lib protestors showed up in front of the church. They were unable to stop anyone, of course, the church went on with their promised assemble showing their defiance against the prejudice.
