Watch: Rick Scott SNAPS, Calls DHS Secretary A Liar And Demands Action NOW!
Florida's Senator (R) Rick Scott tossed the gauntlet. Demanding the immediate resignation of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The Secretary was found not only lying to the American public but the White House and Congress. Now, Scott wants him gone because the US has enough liars in this administration.
“He has to resign. He came and lied to us. He said the border was secure. He lied,” Scott, R-Fla., told The Daily Signal Wednesday after a Senate Republican briefing with border security experts.
Mayorkas claimed earlier this year that the borders were secure. He repeated it before Congress in August and Democrats killed the border wall project.
“He has data. He didn’t give it to us,” Scott said, adding, “He told me when I interviewed him before he took the job he would enforce the law. He’s not enforcing the law. He told me he would be transparent and give me the information I asked for. He doesn’t.”
Scott asked members to raise their hands if they believe Mayorkas lied. All but two raised their hands.
“He has to resign," Scott said.

The Secretary of Homeland Security, Mayorkas, is spinning as fast as he can. But no matter how he tries to wave away the crisis at the border, his appearance on “Fox News Sunday” illustrated how this administration is deceiving the American public.
Mayorkas has made several damaging and untrue claims about the border. Including demonizing border patrol. Mayorkas said agents trying to block Haitian migrants “painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism.” That comment came after the release of a photo that the White House claim showed agents whipping illegals. The photo was even debunked by the photographer who came out to inform the public that no one was using whips on people.
