Watchdog Group Puts Omar On Notice – New Filing Could Get Her Deported [Video]
A watchdog group has finally moved on the notoriously anti-Semitic Congresswoman, Illhan Omar. Reports say this new lawsuit demands the deportation of Omar, and given her anti-American comments in the not-so-recent past, the just might win it!
Larry Klayman, the founder of both Judicial Watch and now Freedom Watch and a former Justice Department prosecutor filed a complaint before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeking a writ of mandamus to order the investigation by the U.S. Department of Home Security (DHS) of the alleged immigration fraud and association with terrorist support groups by Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
Characteristically, DHS has not taken action concerning an administrative complaint filed by Freedom Watch to investigate and, if the facts bear out, send a criminal referral to the U.S. Department of Justice and ultimately deport Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Rep. Ilhan Omar, no more than anyone else, should be allowed to play the “race card,” to avoid scrutiny for her apparent crimes and terrorist related connections, which is a threat to national security. These allegations are serious and quite apart from even her radical anti-Semitic and anti-Christian rhetoric.
Omar has shared anti-American and anti-Semitic comments have made her one of the most unpopular freshmen lawmakers since Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez first came on to the scene.
In a recent interview, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) took a shot at the intelligence of American voters who do not agree with her politics, claiming “ignorance really is pervasive in many parts of this country.”
Speaking with host John Nicols during an appearance on The Nation’s “Next Left” podcast on May 21, the freshman congresswoman discussed issues related to immigration policy and claimed that some American voters have been misled by Republicans about the process of resettlement.
Still, Omar has been heavily guarded by the old order of Democrats, Like Nancy Pelosi who said Omar’s comments invoking the anti-Semitic “dual loyalty” trope were insensitive, but are no indication that Omar — one of two Muslim women to join Congress this year — harbors ill feelings towards Jewish people.
“I don’t think that the congresswoman perhaps appreciates the full weight of how it was heard by other people, although I don’t believe it was intended in an anti-Semitic way,” Pelosi told reporters at the Capitol. “But the fact is, if that’s how it was interpreted, we have to remove all doubt.”
