'We Need To Restore God' And 'Better Parenting': Gov Abbott Signs New Bill
Texas's Governor Abbott has been under liberal fire lately for his attempts to restore Texas back to a better time, fight violent crimes, and thwart illegal immigration. Clearly, though, Abbott doesn't mind taking the heat and continues to make liberals heads explode with his wholesome and honest comments. During the signing of his new Bail bill, Abbott declared that it was time for parents to be more involved and for Texans to 'restore God' back into the community.
"We need better parenting, greater parental involvement. We need to restore God in our communities," Abbott said. "If we do that, we will be able to reduce crime in this region."
The governor delivered the remarks during a bill signing for Texas' new bail reform law as part of his continued efforts to fight crime.
Under the new law, defendants accused of violent crimes or anyone arrested on a felony charge already out on bond in a violent case will be limited to using cash bail.

Texas has been hit with criticism from the left lately after the state was successful in passing a nearly complete ban on abortions. The new law bans abortion after 6 weeks of gestation when the baby's heart beat is detectable.
