White House Preparing For Looming House Probes
The House Oversight Committee's probe into the business dealings of President Biden's son, Hunter, has taken a significant turn as Republican Rep. James Comer has issued subpoenas for Hunter and James Biden to testify in front of the committee. The move has sparked panic from Hunter Biden's lawyer and backlash from Democrats who are trying to downplay the significance of the investigation.
According to New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, the subpoenas are a sign that Comer is ramping up the probe to a "very aggressive level." In an interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo, Devine stated that the Bidens are aware of Comer's determination and have "panicked" in response.
This escalation in the investigation is a cause for concern for the Bidens, as it not only includes Hunter and James but also requests for various associates and family members to undergo transcribed interviews. Devine believes that Comer has the evidence to implicate the Biden family in corrupt practices and will stop at nothing to bring the truth to light.
"James Comer has the receipts," Devine stated, referring to the evidence that the congressman has gathered. "And one by one, he'll be wrapping up these various Biden family members."
Devine also mentioned that one of President Biden's donors is also on Comer's radar. This revelation has caused panic among Democrats, who are now trying to deny the allegations against the Bidens and discredit Comer's investigation. Devine believes that this is due to both loyalty to their party and fear of being exposed for their involvement in the cover-up of the Biden family's potential corruption.
When asked about the upcoming meeting between President Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping in San Francisco, Devine stated that Xi has the measure of the American president. She described Biden as a "bought-and-paid-for asset," citing evidence of his ties to China. Devine also expressed doubt that Biden would address any "uncomfortable" topics with Xi during their meeting.
This meeting between the two leaders has already sparked controversy as it will take place in the newly "cleaned-up" streets of San Francisco, which were cleared of homeless people ahead of the visit. Devine believes that nothing substantial will come from the meeting, and it will merely be a cordial exchange.
In addition to the Biden family's potential corruption, Devine also criticized the Department of Justice for suppressing complaints against Joe Biden during his time as vice president. She cited evidence that more than two dozen complaints about his alleged misconduct were ignored and buried by the DOJ.
As the House Oversight Committee's investigation intensifies and raises more questions about the Bidens, it remains to be seen how the president and his family will respond. With Comer at the helm, it seems that the probe will continue to gain traction, and the truth may finally be revealed about the Biden family's business dealings.
