White House Says Biden's 'Truth Ministries' Wasn't Their Idea, Guess Who They Blamed
So how do you get conservatives on board with a clear violation of constitutional rights? According to Jen Psaki, you claim it was all Trump's idea. I'm sorry, but no. It doesn't work that way. The people would still be just as pissed off, maybe more so, if Trump was the president that was pushing the Disinformation Governance Board—Also known as the 'Ministry of Truth.'
During a press briefing, the White House Press Secretary really went there and claimed that Biden is just finishing what Trump started. She doubled down the madness and claimed that the Board will only be used to combat illegal aliens.
Yeah, because this administration really cares about the border crisis, right?
“Just in terms of what the president wants out of this, does he want the people on this board to start censoring information that is not helpful to him?” Fox News' Peter Doocy asked.
Psaki dodged the question and went on with her fabricated story about what the Board will oversee.
“Well, let me be clear on exactly what this board does, or what the work they are doing does,” Psaki replied. “In their announcement, which is publicly available on the Department of Homeland Security website for anyone to read, it says, quote, ‘The primary mission is to establish best practices to ensure that efforts to understand and respond to disinformation are done in ways that protect privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties, and the right to free speech.”
Doocy: "Just in terms of what [Biden] wants out of this, does he want the people on this board to censoring information that is not helpful to him?

Doocy then hit on the public's concerns about Nina Jankowicz who has spread her fair share of disinformation when she called the Hunter Biden laptop story a Russian hoax:
“This woman, Nina Jankowicz, who is going to be in charge of the board. She has said that she thinks the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation. So, should we look forward in the future to her censoring internet traffic about the Hunter Biden laptop?” he asked.
“The woman you noted has extensive experience and has done extensive work addressing disinformation,” Psaki added. “She has testified before Congress, testified in Europe, she has done — worked closely with the Ukrainians and has unique expertise, especially at this moment we’re facing.”
Doocy: "Nina Jankowicz...is going to be in charge of the board. She has said...the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation. So, should we look forward...to her censoring internet traffic about the Hunter Biden laptop?"

Do you know what would be nice? Having a Press Secretary who is held accountable for the information they spread. This brings me to my next question. If they decide what is and is not disinformation—Who will police them? Should we start and endless chain of boards to keep things fair? Would that really be better than just letting the people keep their rights?
