Ad Released In Georgia Is Stirring A Lot of Debate
In case anyone needed a reminder of how desperate Democrats are to hold onto power in swing states, here it is: a shadowy liberal outfit is pumping out AI-generated fake news to prop up Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff ahead of his 2026 re-election fight.
The group in question? Duty and Honor, a D.C.-based arm of the Democrat-aligned Senate Majority PAC. They’ve dropped a whopping $1.5 million on an ad called “Could’ve.” But this isn’t your typical political ad — it’s straight-up disinformation.
The spot features what sounds like a real news anchor praising Ossoff for being “one of the biggest proponents of a new law to limit insulin to just $35 per month.” Sounds like a local news report, right? Wrong. The voice isn’t a reporter at all. It’s an AI-generated voice deliberately crafted to mimic a legitimate broadcast. And for good measure, they slapped a WRBL chyron — a real Georgia news station — on top of the footage to make it look authentic.
This isn’t blurring the line between fact and fiction. This is running it over, backing up, and doing it again.
Now imagine for half a second that a conservative PAC pulled this stunt. MSNBC would be in full meltdown mode. CNN would run panels about “AI deepfake propaganda.” Democrats would take to the Senate floor to proclaim that democracy was in peril. But because this scam benefits Jon Ossoff — one of the left’s most vulnerable incumbents — the media? Silent. Not a peep.
And why? Because Ossoff has no real accomplishments to tout. He rubber-stamped Biden’s bloated spending. He stayed silent while the border descended into chaos. His record is paper-thin — especially with independents in a purple state that could decide control of the Senate. So instead of telling the truth, they’re fabricating “news” segments to sell voters a fantasy.
This is why Republicans need to hammer the point: these are the same Democrats who lecture you about “threats to democracy” while using AI deepfakes to manipulate Georgians.
Georgia voters deserve better than a synthetic soundbite campaign. They deserve a senator who respects the truth, fights for their values, and isn’t a puppet for the D.C. establishment.
Jon Ossoff can’t win on his record — so his allies are manufacturing one. And that tells you everything you need to know.
