Biden Gives Comments At Hamptons Event
Let's dive into the recent controversy surrounding President Joe Biden’s debate performance and the subsequent fallout. The Democrats seem to be leaning heavily on the defense that it was just a bad night for Biden. But let's face it, folks, Biden's incoherent moments during the debate aren't just an isolated incident—they're part of a pattern that we've seen time and again.
If Biden had simply flubbed a statistic, this defense might hold some water. However, his full-on incoherence during the debate, where he struggled to string together coherent thoughts, suggests a deeper issue. And this wasn't an isolated incident. The very next day in North Carolina, Biden continued to exhibit similar problems with his speech, raising further concerns about his fitness for office.

But the story doesn't end there. At a fundraiser in the Hamptons, Biden's issues persisted, combining confusion with dishonesty. He attempted to spin his debate performance as a win, claiming it convinced undecided voters. Here’s what he said:
"Second, but I understand the concern about the debate. I get it. I didn’t have a great night. But here’s what I — not getting reported: Voters had a different reaction than the pundits. Since the debate, polls show a little movement, and we’ve moved us up, actually. Research on the debate shows it can — you know, all those folks on the edge, converting more undecided voters. Well, we converted more undecided voters than Trump did, especially on January 6th and who’s fighting for the working class, the middle class."
A) The “suckers and losers” hoax is still a hoax

This statement is delusional, given the new CBS post-debate poll showing 72 percent of respondents think Biden lacks the mental fitness for the job, with only 27 percent saying he does. Moreover, there’s been a significant shift among Democrats, with 10 percent moving from thinking Biden should run to believing he should step down. The same poll indicated that Trump came across as more presidential, inspiring confidence and clearly explaining his policies.
If Biden’s team wants us to believe his incoherence is a one-off, they have a lot of explaining to do. At the Hamptons fundraiser, Biden repeated the debunked "suckers" and "losers" hoax about Trump, confusing details along the way. He claimed Trump referred to military veterans as "suckers" and "losers," but he mixed up the cemetery's location, saying Italy instead of France. This is especially concerning since Biden visited that very cemetery in June.
Adding to the confusion, Biden said his son Beau was one of those who died in battle, stating he died in Iraq. The reality is Beau Biden died of cancer in 2015, not in Iraq. These repeated gaffes and inaccuracies show that Biden's issues aren’t just public missteps; they occur behind closed doors as well.
