Biden Heads Back To Delaware
After what feels like an eternity, the day is finally arriving when Joe Biden is set to exit the White House. People all across the political spectrum are buzzing about it—some celebrating, others just relieved. But amid the moving trucks and packing boxes, there are questions floating around, and they’re not minor ones. Let’s talk about what might be walking out those White House doors and whether anyone’s keeping tabs on it. Spoiler alert: there’s plenty of room for concern.

First off, the logistics. Who’s inventorying what’s leaving? Are we just trusting the process here, or is there a clipboard somewhere with someone diligently checking boxes? History tells us to pay attention. Remember the Clintons? When they left, they allegedly walked off with furniture, dishes, and other valuables worth thousands of dollars. A friendly reminder that it took some public outcry for much of it to be returned. Now, as movers haul out chairs, artwork, or who-knows-what from Biden’s tenure, you have to wonder: is someone asking, “Whose chair is that?” Or are we just hoping for the best?

But let’s not stop at furniture. There’s a bigger elephant—or should we say a pile of documents—in the room. Classified ones, specifically. Biden’s track record with sensitive materials hasn’t exactly been confidence-inspiring. Need a refresher? Files found in his office? Check. His garage? Check. Next to his beloved Corvette? Double-check. The Associated Press even reported that while the administration is "working" on protocols to secure classified documents during the move, there’s little evidence that anything substantial is happening. Translation: promises made, promises ignored. Again.

And let’s not forget the other scandal that hung like a fog over this presidency: the mysterious cocaine incident. Remember that one? A bag of white powder was found in the West Wing, and somehow no one—not the Secret Service, not the FBI, no one—could figure out how it got there. If we can lose track of something like that in the nation’s most secure residence, is it really far-fetched to worry about what else might slip through the cracks during this transition?

Meanwhile, after the pomp and circumstance, the Bidens are reportedly heading to California to “rest.” Rest from what exactly? A schedule that included long weekends in Delaware and plenty of time out of the public eye? But hey, let’s not split hairs. It’s worth noting, though, that their California destination is reportedly a private residence owned by—you guessed it—a wealthy Democratic donor. Because somehow, when Democrats cozy up to billionaires, it’s altruism. When Republicans do it, it’s “oligarchy.”
