Billionaire Biden Campaign Financier Admits To Going To Epstein's Island
In an exclusive report from the Wall Street Journal, a number of wealthy and high-profile executives, entertainment figures, socialites, and political figures have been identified as having had interactions with Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 after reportedly hanging himself. Among these figures is billionaire LinkedIn co-founder, Reid Hoffman.
According to the report, Hoffman had visited Epstein Island and was even scheduled to stay overnight at Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse in December 2014. However, Hoffman claims that his last interaction with Epstein was in 2015 when he invited him to a dinner in Palo Alto, California with other Big Tech executives. Hoffman has since apologized for ever meeting with Epstein and admits that he made a mistake by lending his association to the convicted sex offender, which helped to delay justice for Epstein's survivors.
Hoffman, worth and estimated $2 billion, visited the White House a few weeks ago and has pledged to help re-elect President Biden by way of fundraisers. In the 2020 presidential election, Hoffman served as one of Biden's biggest donors, spending north of $7 million on pro-Biden PACs and on ads bashing President Trump. In fact Hoffman, along with his wife gave nearly $500,000 to Biden's campaign and two fundraising committees that support Biden.
Epstein was being charged with sex trafficking crimes when he reportedly committed suicide. Prosecutors alleged that he and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, flew teenage girls to Epstein Island, his Palm Beach, Florida residence, his Manhattan townhouse, and his New Mexico ranch for illicit activities. The revelations of Hoffman's association with Epstein raise questions about the relationships between wealthy and powerful figures and politicians.
