California Sheriff Responds To Ad
Folks, let’s dive into a political storm brewing out of California, where Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux is not holding back after discovering that his image was used in a new political ad for Vice President Kamala Harris. The ad, which touts Harris’ record on border security, has left Boudreaux fuming, and he’s making it crystal clear that he does not support Harris—or any other political office she might be eyeing.
Here’s the scoop: The ad in question features footage from Harris’ time as California’s Attorney General, showing her alongside various law enforcement officials, including Sheriff Boudreaux. The problem? Boudreaux says his image was used without his permission, and he’s not too happy about the way Harris is portraying her record.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Boudreaux didn’t mince words. He pointed out that Harris’s ad paints a misleading picture of her involvement in fighting crime, particularly in the Central Valley. Harris visited the area back in 2013 during her tenure as Attorney General, and Boudreaux remembers the visit well—but not for the reasons Harris might hope.

Boudreaux recalls that when Harris came to the Valley in 2014, it was to announce the results of a years-long investigation into a major drug operation with ties to Mexican cartels. While the operation did result in several arrests, including the alleged kingpin Jose Magana, Boudreaux says Harris’s involvement was minimal. He claims she showed little interest in the cartels or the broader issue of illegal border crossings.
What really seems to have stuck with Boudreaux, though, was Harris’s demeanor during that visit. According to him, she didn’t bother to greet the local law enforcement officials who had done the heavy lifting on the investigation. Instead, she simply showed up for the press conference, gave her remarks, and left without so much as a handshake.
Boudreaux wasn’t the only one upset by the ad. Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward, who also appears in the footage, echoed Boudreaux’s frustration. He criticized Harris for taking credit for work done by others and called her ad “disingenuous.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Boudreaux’s political action committee, Golden State Justice, issued a blistering statement accusing Harris of undermining California’s efforts to combat crime. The statement claims Harris defunded task forces designed to protect the state from the very threats she now claims to have fought against, leaving the state vulnerable.
Boudreaux’s frustration boiled over as he pointed out the disconnect between Harris’s portrayal of her record and the reality on the ground. He emphasized that he does not support Harris and was infuriated to see himself used in an ad that he believes distorts the truth.
Ward also expressed his disappointment, saying that a simple heads-up would have been appreciated. Both he and Boudreaux made it clear that their appearance in the ad should not be taken as an endorsement of Harris, either now or during her time as Attorney General.
