Former Officer Testifies At Hearing In DC
The House Judiciary Committee hearing featuring former Special Counsel Jack Smith was expected to be explosive—but few could have predicted just how chaotic it would become. While Smith’s testimony and the blistering examination led by Committee Chair Jim Jordan (OH-04) captured headlines, much of the drama unfolded not on the witness stand, but in the audience—courtesy of former D.C. police officer Michael Fanone.
J6 disgrace Michael Fanone caughs and yells, “Go f*** yourself!” at Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) during the J6 committee hearing.
This is really who Democrats call their hero of J6? Someone who can’t even behave like an adult at a congressional hearing.

Fanone, a frequent cable news commentator since the January 6 Capitol riot, has made a name for himself as a vocal critic of Republican lawmakers. On Thursday, he appeared in the chamber wearing a “Dropkick Murphys” T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “Fighting Nazis since 1996.” What followed was less punk rebellion and more full-blown disruption.
When Rep. Troy Nehls (TX-22) pointed out that Capitol Police leadership had prior warning of potential violence on January 6 but failed to act effectively, Fanone audibly muttered “F**k yourself.” This prompted Jordan to call the room to order, reminding the audience that the time belonged to Rep. Nehls. But that was only the beginning.

Fanone later flipped off Republican members of the Committee from his seat—a gesture reportedly met with a reprimand from Nehls and another warning from Jordan. Tensions continued to escalate when Fanone confronted Ivan Raiklin, a former Green Beret and vocal critic of the 2020 election. The two have clashed before, but this time it nearly came to blows. Witnesses said Fanone had to be physically restrained by his own allies, and Capitol Police stepped in to prevent further escalation.
Eventually, Fanone was escorted out of the hearing room after snapping at a female officer who attempted to guide him out, reportedly telling her, “Don’t touch me.”

Yet, despite the profanity, the vulgar gestures, and near-physical altercation—all within the halls of Congress—Democratic lawmakers applauded Fanone on his way out. It was a revealing moment: a man who had just disrupted a hearing, cursed at a sitting member of Congress, and been forcibly removed, was still treated as a hero by the left side of the aisle.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) quickly shifted blame to Raiklin, calling him “deranged” and urging Chairman Jordan to take action against him—even though it was Fanone who was restrained and removed from the room.
