MSNBC Tool Scarborough Panics Over Trump's Media Coverage, He Has A Good Reason For Once
The Democrats are at it again. This time, they're weaponizing the justice system to target former President Donald Trump. And they're not even trying to hide it.
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough had a complete meltdown on Tuesday's Morning Joe when he blasted the media coverage of Trump's indictment. He was outraged that every network was on the Trump plane as it was landing and estimated that it earned the former president $40 to $50 million of free media.
"We were on it," Scarborough said. "Every network was on it forever, and then it lands, and, we're on the Trump plane. We gave the guy ... I would guess, $40 to $50 million of earned media."
And he's right. We saw Trump's plane landing for what seemed like 20 minutes with all the major networks giving it their full attention. It was like the space shuttle Challenger or Columbia returning. We were watching baggage handlers and plane employees and hearing the same things being repeated over and over.
Scarborough also noted that even Trump supporters are laughing at the legacy media for its ridiculous coverage of the former president. "They all looked at me and said, 'Didn't you guys learn anything from 2016,'" he said. "It was just outrageous."
What's even more outrageous is that Scarborough is worried that the media will look foolish when the case against Trump inevitably fails. And it will. Because the Democrats are weaponizing the justice system to target Trump and it's painfully obvious.
Scarborough is right to be worried because the media should know better. They should have learned their lesson in 2016 when they were wrong about almost everything. But they still don't seem to get it.
It's time for the mainstream media to stop giving the Democrats a platform to push their agenda and stop taking the bait. They need to realize that the Democrats are using the justice system to target Trump and stop giving them the attention they so desperately crave.
The Democrats have had enough airtime. It's time they get off the stage and let the justice system do its job. It's time the media take a step back and let the facts speak for themselves.
