Trump Slams Indictment In First Address Since Walking Out Of The Courtroom
It's time to call out the Democrats for what they're doing: weaponizing the justice system to target former President Donald Trump and other conservatives.
It's been less than 24 hours since Trump walked out of a Manhattan courthouse, leaving his fingerprints on American history as the first former president ever to be charged with a crime. And yet, he's already back on his home turf at the Mar-a-Lago club, proclaiming that he's being persecuted by prosecution.
“They can’t beat us at the ballot box, so they try to beat us through the law," Trump said to a room of supporters. "We are a nation in decline, and now these radical left lunatics want to interfere in elections by using law enforcement. We can’t let that happen.”
Trump also called for prosecutors in Atlanta to "drop" a case into his effort to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, condemned an ongoing federal investigation into his handling of classified documents, mocked a New York state investigation into his business and described special counsel Jack Smith as a "lunatic."
The sh*t show of a situation that the Democrats have created for Trump and other conservatives has gone too far. Instead of allowing the people to decide the fate of our nation at the ballot box, they're trying to railroad Trump through the legal system and fabricate criminal charges.
If the facts are very weak and not provable beyond a reasonable doubt, then prosecutors shouldn't be bringing a case against Trump and other conservatives just to make a political impact. This isn't a game. This is a matter of justice and the rule of law.
The Democrats seem to think they can do whatever they want and get away with it. But they're wrong. The American people won't stand for the weaponization of the justice system. We won't stand for the criminalization of politics. We won't stand for the unfair persecution of conservatives.
Watch
It's time for the Democrats to back off and let justice run its course. It's time for the Republicans to stand up and fight for what's right. It's time to put an end to this double-speak and restore some sense of accountability with those who hold the highest levels of power. You have to get out an vote if you want to be heard.
