Rhode Island Prosecutor Taken Into Custody
It’s been a banner year for national Democrats in the “let’s out-crazy ourselves” sweepstakes, but local Democrats are proving they won’t be outdone. In fact, they’re making a pretty convincing case that the real circus isn’t in Washington at all — it’s in statehouses, city halls, and apparently, at late-night bar scenes.
Take South Carolina’s “Mullins” McLeod. The gubernatorial candidate was arrested in nothing but his underwear, raving that he was both God and Superman, spewing racial slurs, and threatening his opponent, Nancy Mace. In most political universes, that would end a campaign instantly. In McLeod’s? He’s staying in the race. Because apparently, unhinged delusions of grandeur are just a résumé line now.
2/ After Asst. Attorney General Devon Hogan Flanagan yelled "I'M AN AG" ELEVEN TIMES, she threatened police. "Buddy, you're gonna regret this."
She tried to say it 12X but police shut the door after "A" & before "G."
So that's 11.5X.
I'm not sure, but I think she's an AG. pic.twitter.com/ps8kYqYVxq

Not to be outdone, Rhode Island Democrats are running their own audition for political farce. Enter Assistant Attorney General Devon Hogan Flanagan, who decided the best way to handle the Newport Police was to scream “Don’t you know who I AM?” repeatedly while refusing to leave a bar. Spoiler: the officers did not care. They cuffed her and her equally inebriated friend, Veronica Hannan, and chauffeured them off in the back of a squad car on trespassing charges.
The bodycam footage tells the tale. Slurred boasts, F-bombs, and the kind of smug self-importance that would embarrass even a first-year law student. Hogan Flanagan seemed genuinely stunned that her exalted status as “Assistant Attorney General” didn’t grant her immunity from basic law enforcement. She even shouted that police protocol required body cams to be shut off if requested. Pro tip: that’s not how it works. At all.
3/ Veronica Hannan, "champion of diversity in STEM" & friend of "I'M AN AG Devon Hogan Flanagan," went bananas during arrest. She escaped cuffs, growled, hissed, kicked, screamed, "NOOOOO!"
All they had to do was leave.

It’s equal parts tragic and comedic. These are supposed to be the legal minds entrusted with enforcing the law — but the minute they face accountability, they melt into toddlers throwing tantrums. Instead of dignity, restraint, and respect for the office they hold, we get drunken shrieks of entitlement and empty threats.
It’s hard not to laugh, but it’s also hard not to notice the pattern. Time and again, Democrat officials — from the courtroom to the campaign trail — act as though the rules don’t apply to them. The public sees it. The cameras record it. And the more they try to bluff and bully their way out of consequences, the more they reveal just how unfit they are for positions of public trust.
I take back everything I ever said about cops wearing body cams being a bad thing.
For the most part, they just show cops doing their jobs by the book. https://t.co/sL3Vf8hqyX
