Trump Comments On Kamala Proposal
The political battlefield is heating up, and Donald Trump’s campaign just dropped a new ad that takes aim squarely at Vice President Kamala Harris and her enthusiastic endorsement of “Bidenomics.” If you’ve been feeling the pinch of inflation, rising gas prices, and sky-high interest rates, this ad hits home, and it’s designed to make you think twice about the economic policies coming out of the Biden-Harris administration.
The ad is a masterclass in juxtaposition, opening with Trump’s signature, “I’m Donald J. Trump, and I approve this message.” From there, it launches into a series of news clips that paint a grim picture of the current state of the economy. First up, we see a clip highlighting the alarming spike in inflation, reportedly the highest it’s been in nearly 40 years. Right after, we cut to Harris proudly proclaiming, “That is called Bidenomics.”

The hits keep coming. As gas prices soar to new all-time highs and interest rates remain painfully elevated, we hear Harris again, this time declaring, “Bidenomics is working.” The ad wraps up with a stark reality check—news reports about two-thirds of Americans struggling to make ends meet and a spike in unemployment—all while Harris continues to express pride in the administration’s economic agenda. It’s a hard-hitting piece that effectively frames Bidenomics as a failure for everyday Americans.
But Trump didn’t stop there. During a Saturday rally in Pennsylvania, he doubled down on his criticism of Harris, taking aim at her policy positions, particularly those related to healthcare and immigration. Trump highlighted Harris’s past remarks where she expressed support for eliminating private health insurance and providing taxpayer-funded healthcare to illegal immigrants. This, Trump argued, is part of what’s driving the surge of illegal immigration, as leaders like Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsom effectively invite people to come to the U.S. with promises of free benefits.
Trump painted a bleak picture of the impact this has had on American communities, particularly schools. According to Trump, the influx of illegal immigrants has led to American children being displaced in classrooms, with kids who don’t speak English taking their seats and dragging down the quality of education. “Your kids are not getting educated. They’re considered like secondary citizens,” Trump warned, blaming Harris and, to a lesser extent, Biden for this situation.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Kamala Harris wants to eliminate private health insurance and give free tax-payer funded healthcare to every single illegal alien in this country. By contrast, I am going to keep the Affordable Care Act unless we can do something much better, and by better, I’m… pic.twitter.com/1NyYQ0mu16

Interestingly, Trump also touched on healthcare policy, signaling a more moderate approach than in the past. He stated that he would keep the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in place unless Republicans can come up with a better system. While he criticized the ACA for being too expensive and providing subpar care, he emphasized that any changes would need to be a clear improvement before he would support them. Trump also took credit for capping insulin prices at $35, calling out Harris and Biden for trying to claim credit for his accomplishment.
In classic Trump fashion, he concluded with a promise to deliver lower healthcare costs, reduce drug prices, and provide new options to alleviate the burden on American patients.
