Watch: DeSantis Responds To MSM's Lies About Florida Schools
Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has been a target of the left's biased coverage. Recently, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell falsely accused DeSantis of prohibiting children from learning about slavery and its aftermath, insinuating that he was promoting a biased and racist agenda.
But DeSantis has made it clear that the state's educational standards require the teaching of all aspects of black history, including slavery and racial discrimination. In fact, he has signed legislation requiring students to learn about the Ocoee Massacre, which is known as the “largest incident of voting-day violence in United States history.”
The media's biased coverage of DeSantis and other conservative leaders is part of a larger effort to promote a progressive agenda and silence dissenting voices. It's not just about attacking conservative politicians; it's about grooming our school children with leftist ideologies.
One way that the left is attempting to groom our children is through critical race theory (CRT). CRT holds that America is fundamentally racist, yet teaches people to view every social interaction and person in terms of race. Its adherents pursue “antiracism” through ending meritocracy and objective truth and adopting race-based policies.
DeSantis recently rejected an advanced placement African American history course for containing elements of CRT and queer theory. But he remains committed to promoting conservative policies that benefit all Floridians.
His press secretary, Bryan Griffin, has called for an apology from MSNBC and its affiliates for spreading false information.
The left's grooming practices extend beyond the classroom. They also seek to indoctrinate children through the media and popular culture. We must remain vigilant against these efforts and promote conservative values and policies that benefit all Americans.
The governor has faced consistent criticism for his conservative policies and his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, DeSantis remains steadfast in his commitment to promoting conservative values and policies that benefit Floridians.
