Actor Nick Pasqual Arrested
In a harrowing tale of survival and resilience, Los Angeles make-up artist Allie Shehorn narrowly escaped death after being brutally attacked by her boyfriend, Nick Pasqual, just days after securing a temporary restraining order against him. DailyMail.com reveals exclusive details about the disturbing case that has shaken the community.
Allie Shehorn, 35, filed for the restraining order on May 18, detailing a horrific history of abuse, including rape, choking, and beatings with a belt. Despite her efforts to seek protection, on May 23, Pasqual violently assaulted her in their home. He was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas, while attempting to flee to Mexico, and is now charged with attempted murder, first-degree home invasion, and domestic violence injury. If convicted, Pasqual faces life in prison.
Pasqual, who recently appeared in the 2023 movie "Rebel Moon," has a documented history of violence against Shehorn. According to her restraining order application, Pasqual attacked her on at least four occasions. The abuse escalated over time, culminating in the brutal stabbing on May 23.
Shehorn's application for the restraining order, obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, describes multiple instances of abuse. On January 29, Pasqual struck her with a belt. On March 6, he broke down several doors in their Sunland, California, home. On April 14, he raped and choked her at an Airbnb. The May 18 incident, which prompted Shehorn to seek the restraining order, occurred at 3 a.m. when Pasqual, under the influence, became enraged, slapped her, and dragged her by her hair, causing her to hit her head on the ground.
Shehorn sought refuge in the bedroom of a friend, Christine White, who shares their home. Pasqual tried to break down the door, eventually shoving it against Shehorn and causing her to fall and sustain a concussion. Despite White’s attempts to call 911, Pasqual threatened her as well. Arrested later that morning, Pasqual was charged with a felony but released on bail within hours.
The restraining order request also included a chilling account of the April 14 rape. After a night of drinking, Pasqual began hurting Shehorn during sex. When she asked him to stop, he restrained her by her wrists. Upon finally escaping, Pasqual berated her, accusing her of not loving him. As she tried to leave, he choked her, releasing her only when she threatened to scream.
The temporary restraining order included requests for protection for White and the couple’s dog, Riley. A hearing to make the restraining order permanent was scheduled for June 11, with Pasqual due in court on a felony charge on June 12. Pasqual, who has previous convictions, including DUIs in 2013 and 2014, will be held on a $1.075 million bond once extradited to LA.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón expressed his support for Shehorn, stating, "My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident. Our office extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her."
Shehorn is currently recovering in the hospital. Christine White, who found Shehorn in a pool of blood, described the scene as devastating. “This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody,” White told KTLA. “You don’t think this is ever going to happen to you.”
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help Shehorn with her mounting medical bills. White’s quick actions in finding and helping Shehorn have been credited with saving her life.
As the case progresses, the community and authorities remain focused on ensuring justice for Shehorn and highlighting the urgent need for effective measures to protect victims of domestic violence.
