Biden Releases Statement Amid Trump Signing Off On Probe
In what many are now calling a campaign in name only, President Joe Biden and his inner circle are scrambling to project competence and control, even as mounting evidence — public, political, and personal — suggests the reality is far grimmer than his defenders care to admit.
Following the now-infamous CNN debate where Biden struggled to complete thoughts, trailed off mid-sentence, and stood slack-jawed as former President Donald Trump delivered point after point with clarity and energy, the question isn't whether Biden is in decline — it's how long the American public has been misled about it.
According to a widely cited ABC News poll, nearly 80% of voters believed Biden was too old to run again before the debate. That number hasn’t gotten smaller.
Former President Biden in wake of President Trump order for investigation: “Let me be clear: I made the decisions during my presidency. I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false.”

Yet in response to growing pressure, Biden issued a firm-sounding statement declaring that he, and he alone, made all presidential decisions — on pardons, on executive orders, on legislation. It was the kind of assertive claim meant to quiet the critics. But at this point, even longtime supporters are left wondering: Did Biden write this himself, or did his handlers craft the words and place them under his name?
Matt, was this a written statement?

That question isn’t rhetorical. It cuts to the very heart of the crisis. After Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report described Biden as a “sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory,” the White House response was to attack the tone — not to refute the facts.
Hur documented that Biden couldn’t recall the year his son Beau died. He couldn’t place the term dates of his own vice presidency. If a president can’t orient around those milestones, how can he navigate matters of war, economics, and national security?
Yeah, no one believes this https://t.co/dx3A9lQ5Ps

The Biden camp insists it’s all under control. But Americans watching interviews, speeches, and debates see something very different. What they see is a man struggling to stay afloat in a job that demands absolute sharpness and stamina. What they’re being told, however, is to ignore the reality and trust the narrative.
