MSNBC Goes On Warped 'Keep White Men In Power' Kick
The liberal media and their biased agenda have been on full display when it comes to topics like abortion, LGBTQ rights, and the Republican party. They’ve used false narratives to stir up division and create a false sense of debate around these important issues, thus hindering any meaningful progress we could make.
Take MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, who had the audacity to ask author George M. Johnson why Republicans care so much about drag shows, suggesting that over 300 anti-LGBTQ bills have already been introduced this year. Johnson then went on to suggest these bills were an attempt to “keep the heteronormative paradigm of this country intact” and “keep white men in power.”
It’s important to remember that there’s nothing wrong with holding a traditional view of marriage, gender roles, or family values—one doesn’t have to be racist or sexist if they disagree with certain progressive ideals. In fact, many Republicans support a number of pro-LGBTQ policies that don’t rely on redefinitions of words or deep cultural shifts—like protecting gay people from discrimination in housing and employment.
Likewise, Roe v Wade doesn’t just affect women—it affects both parents who may have different ideas about what’s best for their unborn child’s future and the unborn child themselves. It’s reasonable to expect these issues to be decided between individuals instead of by governmental fiat.
It’s also worth noting that Generation Z is indeed more diverse, but this has nothing to do with our debates around abortion and LGBTQ rights. We should not be invoking race in these debates—it’s both unfair and disrespectful to those involved.
What we need is an open dialogue between different perspectives, where everyone can express their opinions without fear of reprisal. Only then will we be able to come together and make meaningful progress on these issues with compassion and understanding, rather than divisive rhetoric.
The liberal media have an agenda—to push their own biases and stoke the racial divide with false narratives. They’re doing a disservice to us all by preventing us from having real conversations and making progress on important topics. We must not allow them to get away with it.
